The strictly limited version of our ax-lightness VIAL evo Disc frame set is elaborately handcrafted with red fabric, making it unique. Each of these unique frame sets is equipped with high-quality CeramicSpeed ​​Coated bearings to offer maximum performance.

Based on our Eurobike Gold Award winner VIAL evo D / Ultra / Race and Eurobike-Award winner VIAL evo XC MTB, we now present the next generation of the VIAL evo line after intensive development work: the VIAL evo Disc! 

As with the VIAL evo Ultra and VIAL evo Race, the focus of development was on the ideal symbiosis of lightness, stability and comfort; and all of this without comprising suitability for everyday use! This is made possible thanks to the ingenious construction, intelligently formed tube cross-sections and the choice of strictly selected carbon prepreg material from motorsport and aerospace. In over 30 hours of handicraft in our factory in Germany, we shape these into an absolute masterpiece of technology. Lamination in clean room and curing in autoclave enable peak levels that cannot be achieved with conventional manufacturing processes. The result is a disc frame of the 700 gram class with outstanding technical properties that does not shy away from heavy riders.

The VIAL evo Disc has been developed together with our professionals and stands out with its extreme stiffnesses both laterally as well as in the bottom bracket whilst still offering excellent comfort values at the same time.

According to independant EFBE comparative testing, the frame yields a ground-breaking STW value of 159.83 N/mm/kg (according to Roadbike-standard), that outshines everything that has gone before and surpasses current high-end competitors by over 40%. This is prove of our superior engineering, optimal material utilization and craftsmanship with carbon prepreg materials.

Engineering, construction as well as manufacturing to full extent take place in Germany and make our VIAL evo Disc a genuine handmade in Germany product.

The enormous lightness paired with extreme rigidity transforms every pedal stroke into powerful thrust and catapults you into new spheres.

The frame not only passes all ISO and overload tests with flying colors, but just as well our mich higher in-house standards. For this reason, the frame is approved for a rider weight of up to 120 kg.

The butted seattube and slim seatstays without brake bridge offer a high flex and therewith provide maximum seating comfort, even on epic rides.
The possibility to mount tires up to a width of 32mm gives the bikes the greatest possible versatility.

The classical slim silhouette and the hourglass-shaped headtube of the frame along with our newly developed disc fork ensure good aerodynamics.

For clean aesthetics and highest possible compatibility the VIAL evo Disc is prepared for different shifting options, so that both mechanical as well as electronic shifting groupsets can be used. There also are special versions available with cable ports specifically designed for Sram eTAP, Shimano Di2 or Campagnolo EPS electronic shifting groups.

• Our VIAL evo series: Our award-winning frames „handmade in Germany by ax-lightness“, which are exclusively made by hand in our factory in Duderstadt, Lower Saxony, Germany.

ax-lightness uses „cutting edge“ technology to manufacture highest-quality carbon cycling parts such as wheels, saddles, seatposts, handlebars, stems and bottle cages, exclusively in Germany, which combine lightness and stability to the highest perfection.
