The bundle of the Red Edition consists of our ax-lightness Phoenix and the Europa SL 27.2 mm and is strictly limited to 21 pieces worldwide.

The ax-lightness Phoenix represents state-of-the-art technology. The saddle frame flows smoothly into the saddle cover from the front and back, helping flexibility reach entirely new dimensions.

The whole system works like leaf springs, providing premium comfort and ergonomics. We have put all of the experience we've gained working with celebrity cycling professionals into the outstanding design of this saddle, thus making it possible to achieve an absolute minimum weight of just 65 grams.

The saddle flanks are inwardly tapered around the entire saddle to ensure cycling shorts are not exposed to wear. This innovative saddle design – and weight combined with our seatposts ensure extremely positive behaviour in out-of-the-saddle pedalling.

We only use premium-quality prepreg materials. They ensure consistent quality and optimum fibre volume, thus guaranteeing the lightest possible weight. They are tempered in our autoclaves under predefined pressure and temperature cycles.

The new designed ax-lightness Europa SL seat post is based on the ax.Europa Premium, but now offers a continuous clamping area and thus enables flexible adjustment of the optimal seat height.

The construction of the seat post tube, calculated according to the load, is manufactured from carbon prepreg in complex manual work 100% in our factory in Duderstadt.

The curing takes place in a long autoclave cycle in which the excess resin is removed under vacuum. After the final processing and the finish of the noble, silky-matt shimmering UD surface, the black titanium screws and jokes made especially for us from German manufacture are installed and thus ensure perfection down to the last detail!In order to save the last bit of weight, the ax.Europa SL can also be ordered in lengths of 240 mm, 290 mm or 350 mm in addition to the 410 mm long basic version.

With a weight limit of 90 kg, the ax.Europa SL is also suitable for heavier drivers despite its low overall weight.
