However, we are not satisfied with the status quo! Based on our successful work, we set about improving the bike together with our designers and engineers. In addition to the feedback from the riders of our professional teams P&S BENOTTI and Saris-Rouvy Sauerland, customer opinions of course have also been incorporated into the further development. All parameters were considered and resulted in an optimization of the geometry as well as the tube shapes such as down tube, head tube and seat stays. A big focus has been set on the full integration of shift cables or cables and the brake hoses as here we detected the greatest possible aerodynamic optimization potential.

The bar / stem combination features a short reach of 80 mm and a compact drop of 125 mm. The drops have been shaped harmoniously to easily reach the brake / shift levers from all grip positions at any time. The geometry of the handlebar has been optimized for modern brake/shift levers from Shimano, Sram and Campagnolo. For the best possible adjustment of the seating position without compromise, we offer the bar / stem combination in all reasonable dimensions.

The full integration of the cables and lines and the flat-designed top of the bars with a narrow front surface offer little area exposed to wind. The flat design, which rises slightly towards the outside, enables a high level of grip comfort on the tops of the bars. It is also possible to support the forearms as on extensions and to ride in a particularly aerodynamic position.

On the bottom side of the bars there are threads allowing to attach computer mounts (sold separately). Adapters for attaching action cams and lighting systems are also available.
Resulting from the feedback from our professional teams, the brandnew FUOCO AERO DISC features a shorter head tube in order to be able to achieve very sporty and aerodynamic seating positions.
However, it is of course also possible to ease the seating position using spacers that can harmoniously be integrated into the aesthetics of the bike. The highest premise for us still is to achieve the optimal seating position for every type of rider and to adapt the bike to its rider and not the other way around.

The result of the developments not only convinces in simulations, but just as well very impressively on the road! The bike impresses with its high bottom bracket and lateral stiffnesses. In sprint the bike convinces with its willing thrust and downhill it can be maneuvered very directly and controlled through tight bends. Furthermore, the FUOCO AERO DISC scores with very neutral and stable riding characteristics even in unfavorable wind conditions. Here our further optmized engage 45C Evo Disc carbon wheels with the class leading tire Continental GP5000S.

The electronic versions of the FUOCO AERO DISC come with our brand new ax-lightness Leaf Comfort leather saddle. This impresses not only with its low weight but also with its high level of driving comfort.

By optimizing the layup we were able to significantly reduce the weight of the frameset, which benefits the overall weight of the bike. With the Dura-Ace DI2 groupset and our engage 45C disc wheelset, the FUOCO AERO DISC weighs a mere 7.2 kg for a 54 frame size.

The comfort properties have also further been increased. The low-positioned seat stays have been aerodynamically optimized and thanks to slight changes in the layup at the same time ensure improved flex. The curved fork minimizes air turbulence between the fork and the wheel and, like the rear end, offers space for tires up to 30 mm in width. The FUOCO AERO DISC therefore also is also armed for comfort-oriented riders or for epic rides.
