TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY AND PAYMENT OF ax-lightness composites GmbH, D-37115 Duderstadt

All deliveries are conducted by DPD, UPS or our logistics service provider. Subsequent deliveries within the EU of course are free of charge. For deliveries outside of the EU we will inform you in advance about the incurring costs.

Deliveries always are subject to availability. The purchase contract will conclude with the completion by ax-lightness, it is therefore legally only concluded by the delivery of the goods according to the delivery note. For catalogue, phone and internet orders we will inform you about the receipt of your order by e-mail.

All our packages are insured on the transit route. Please check the package immediately for external damage upon receipt. Any damage must be reported to the transport company within 24 hours. You will receive a confirmation of your message, which you are to include along with a copy of the invoice for the return of the original package to us. Please contact us by phone before proceeding with the return shipment.      

Shipping costs within Germany:                                                                                                          

• shipping costs for bike accessories: EUR 5.90
• shipping costs for wheelsets: EUR 14.90
• shipping costs for framesets: EUR 19.90
• shipping costs for bikes in special bike box: EUR 49.90

For all non-listed countries the conduction of an order is only possible after the calculation of the individual shipping costs.

Assembled bicycles are exclusively being delivered in a special bike box, which already is included in the shipping costs.

Orders with a delivery address outside of the EU are indicated including the German VAT of 19% in the shopping cart. Upon invoicing of the ordered goods the total is stated net.

Deliveries abroad may be subject to customs and import duties in the country of destination. These costs shall be borne by the recipient. ax-lightness GmbH does not have any influence on these fees.

VAT for paid goods can only be reimbursed if an export tax certificate for VAT purposes is sent to us within 2 months of the invoice date.

Payment methods for deliveries within Germany:

• Cash on delivery: UPS collects the total amount for the goods upon delivery. In addition to the shipping costs a payment form fee of EUR 7.90 is being charged. Attention: For custom bikes COD is not possible!
• Advance payment: We will send you an advance invoice after receipt of your order. After receipt of payment the goods will be picked for you and shipped.

• Advance payment: We will send you an advance invoice after receipt of your order. After receipt of the payment the goods will be picked for you and shipped.

For PAYPAL payments outside of the EURO area additional fees will be charged depending on the country of delivery. Please ask for the fees before ordering!
