Based on our Eurobike Gold Award winner VIAL evo D / Ultra / Race and Eurobike-Award winner VIAL evo XC MTB, we now present the next generation of the VIAL evo line after intensive development work: the VIAL evo Disc!

As with the VIAL evo Ultra and VIAL evo Race, the focus of development was on the ideal symbiosis of lightness, stability and comfort; and all of this without comprising suitability for everyday use! This is made possible thanks to the ingenious construction, intelligently formed tube cross-sections and the choice of strictly selected carbon prepreg material from motorsport and aerospace. In over 30 hours of handicraft in our factory in Germany, we shape these into an absolute masterpiece of technology. Lamination in clean room and curing in autoclave enable peak levelst hat cannot be achieved with conventional manufacturing processes. The result is a disc frame of the 700 gram class with outstanding technical properties that does not shy away from heavy riders.

The VIAL evo Disc has been developed together with our professionals and shines with its extreme stiffnesses both laterally as well as in the bottom bracket whilst still offering excellent comfort values at the same time.

According to independant EFBE comparative testing, the frame sports a 62% increase in lateral stiffness and 22% incease in bottom bracket stiffness over the current market’s benchmark. This results in an outstanding STW value of 159.83 N/mm/kg (according to Roadbike-standard), which is prove of optimal material utilization and superior engineering.

The enormous lightness paired with extreme rigidity transforms every pedal stroke into powerful thrust and catapults you into new spheres.

With our Climbers Edition you can choose amongst individual painting options and design your dream bike according to your personal taste. The bike either comes in our typical ax visible carbon finish where you can choose between matt or glossy clear coat and various colors for the painted decals.
Our limited version comes in a unique full paint job in glazed chrome-red and not not only shines visually, but also with its complete weight of 5.6 kg for a medium sized bike at an approved rider weight of 100 kg.

By dispensing with exotic tuning parts, the VIAL evo Disc is fully suitable for everyday use and for best performance is equipped with a full SRAM Red AXS groupset with Quarq powermeter and 160mm brake discs front and rear, making it a dream for every technology lover. The Climbers Edition is available in three groupset options. 

For the cockpit, we made a conscious decision against a full integration in order to offer the rider a high level of flexibility when picking a cockpit and thus an adaptation to his/her needs. The cockpit of the Climbers Edition consists of our super-light and well-damping ax.Rigid stem and our high-strength and ergonomic ax.Ergo 4200 race bar.

For ultimate climbing performance there is no way around our 840g ax.Ultra 25T wheelset with its Extralite SPD-3 hubs. The ultra-light rims offer you breathtaking acceleration and also highest confidence downhill.

The butted seattube and slim seatstays without brake bridge along with the comfortable ax.Europa seatpost and the new ax.Leaf Comfort saddle provide maximum seating comfort, even on epic rides. The possibility to mount tires up to a width of 32mm gives the bikes the greatest possible versatility.

The classical slim silhouette and the hourglass-shaped headtube of the frame along with our newly developed disc fork ensure good aerodynamics.

The frame not only passes all ISO and overload tests with flying colors, but just as well our much higher in-house standards. For this reason, the frame is approved for a rider weight of up to 120 kg.

For highest possible efficiency we are using the absolute high-end Coated bearing range from CeramicSpeed for bottom bracket, headset and wheelset.

• Our VIAL evo series: Our award-winning frames „handmade in Germany by ax-lightness“, which are exclusively made by hand in our factory in Duderstadt, Lower Saxony, Germany.
